Life inside The Pinkyverse has never been tidy – and honestly, I don’t think it’s supposed to be. Creativity rarely arrives in a straight line. It shows up in bursts, in late‑night ideas, in half‑finished projects, in moments where everything feels chaotic and somehow still full of possibility.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been juggling an array of things from moving, to reorganizing, to planning and dreaming, not to mention adjusting to a new job, and about a hundred tiny tasks that all matter more than they look. And somewhere in the middle of all that, I realized something: the mess is part of the magic.
Today, I want to share what’s been happening behind the scenes — the good, the stressful, the funny, and the unexpectedly meaningful.
Section 1 — The She Shed Shuffle
If you’ve been following my updates, you know the She Shed has been a whole journey. Some days it feels like a cozy creative haven; other days it feels like a storage unit with ambition. But every time I step inside, I’m reminded why I built it: to carve out a space where ideas can breathe.
Recently, I’ve been reorganizing, shifting furniture, clearing corners, and rediscovering supplies I forgot I owned. It’s like digging through layers of my own creative history — old sketches, early Pinky designs, half‑finished projects that suddenly feel inspiring again.
The She Shed isn’t perfect yet. But it’s becoming something better: a living, evolving space that grows with me.
Section 2 — The Beginnings of a Dream
I had a dream… Oh wait – that line has definitely been used already.
Let’s back up.
Someone mentioned to me that I should open a small stall to sell some of my creations. And that tiny suggestion lit a spark. Suddenly, I was imagining shelves, displays, Pinkyverse décor, and a cozy little corner filled with things I made with my own imagination.
So the dream began.
I looked into the Mall of Peddlers and instantly fell in love with the concept. I started planning, designing, sketching layouts, imagining the vibe, and putting all the pieces together. It felt exciting — like something real was forming.
But you know how life works. If there’s a wrench anywhere nearby, life will grab it and toss it right into your plans.
Luckily, this wasn’t a dream-ending wrench – just a stalling one. The physical stall idea isn’t gone. It’s simply on the back burner for one more year.
You know the saying “Money talks”? Well, mine wasn’t just talking – it was yelling. Other things needed to come first. Things that had to be handled before I could jump into running a physical space.
And honestly, it was true. Sometimes you have to step back and let real life get sorted out before you chase the fun stuff.
But the dream? It’s not boxed up. It’s not forgotten. It’s just waiting patiently for its turn.
Section 3 — Creativity in Motion
One thing I’ve learned: creativity doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. It shows up when you’re tired, when you’re busy, when you’re doubting yourself, when you’re knee‑deep in clutter trying to find a pen that writes.
But when it arrives, it’s worth everything.
Lately, I’ve been sketching new characters, refining Pinky’s world, and exploring ideas that feel bigger than anything I’ve done before. Some will become products. Some will become stories. Some will become nothing more than a fun experiment — and that’s okay.
Creativity is movement. And movement means growth.
Section 4 — Life, Chaos, and Small Joys
Outside the business, life has been… life. A mix of chaos, errands, unexpected moments, and tiny joys that make everything feel lighter.
A good cup of coffee. A quiet morning. A TikTok post that gets more views than expected. A comment from someone who loves Pinky. A moment where everything feels aligned for no particular reason.
These small things matter. They’re the threads that hold the bigger picture together.
Section 5 — What’s Coming Next
The Pinkyverse is expanding — slowly, steadily, and with a whole lot of heart.
Here’s what’s on the horizon:
- New Website Store
- New boutique products
- More behind‑the‑scenes updates
- Fresh Pinky designs
- She Shed improvements
- Blog posts that go deeper
- A growing community of people who love this world as much as I do
It’s messy. It’s magical. It’s mine. And I’m grateful you’re here for the journey.
Closing — A Soft Landing
If you’re reading this, thank you. Thank you for being part of The Pinkyverse, for supporting Pinky, for cheering on the boutique, and for showing up even when things are still in progress.
We’re building something beautiful — one messy, magical step at a time.
I am so Excited to take the next step and see where Life in the Pinkyverse takes us.
