I know most people have already read about where Pinky originated but I wanted to just do a recount for this new website:)
Pinky came about in the mid to late 1990’s at a webhosting site on the Internet called Fortune City. It was a free hosting site that was so fun and entertaining. Fortune City was set up online like a city. When to uploaded your website you got a street name and house number. Fortune City had all the things a city would have, parks, city hall, we even had a Pub. And yes where else would you see little pink elephants? In a pub, well actually the some of the patrons there saw little pink elephants, and virtually saw them so much Pinky became a virtual reality. And then she became the Mascot of Fortune City.
Pinky made a ton of friends, went on adventures from getting elephant napped and chocolate covered to going out with the girls and getting piercings. Pinky has been sidelined for a lot of years since FC shut down but she is now back in action the main character on her own Website. She was tired of being shuffled away on a disk.
So I hope everyone will join us on new adventures along with Spark, the little mouse that Pinky adopted way back when.
